Outline
The intensive nature of this all day session will help to assist you in firmly and effectively establishing the use of your mindfulness skills in a range of situations, and so preparing you to utilise these methods beyond the conclusion of the program.
Theme
The whole day – run largely in silence – helps cultivate more deeply a sense of presence from moment to moment, and being open to any experience, whether evaluated as pleasant, unpleasant or neutral, as an opportunity to practice mindful attention.
It is not unusual for people to come into this day with a degree of trepidation – a day spent in silence. It is unusual – in my experience – for anyone to come away without learning a lot about bringing moment to moment attention to a variety of daily experiences.
